  • Eleanor of Aquitaine, Queen of England, ordered the first vines to be planted in our village. They were then cultivated by monks.

  • Pierre Boissonneau created the family Estate

    1839

  • Jean-Pierre Boissonneau, 4th generation is restructuring the vineyard

    1960s

  • Launch of the first bottlings a the château

    1970s

  • Arrival of Christian, 5th generation, and Therese, his wife

    1975

  • Christian develops sales to Europe as Germany, Belgium and Netherlands

    1980s

  • Christian opens the North American markets: US ans Canada. Retirement of Jean-Pierre, 4th generation and arrival of Philippe Boissonneau, Christian’s brother.

    1990s

  • Christian starts business in Asia with China and South East Asia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodgia

    2000s (early)

  • Pascal Boissonneau, 6th generation, joins the Family vineyard to work in the Vineyard then on the Sales as well

    2005

  • Pascal initiates the conversion of the vineyard to the organic certification.

    2007

  • The first bottle certified organic is produced

    2011

  • Christian and Thérèse Boissonneau retired

    2015

  • First bottles sold in Japan

    2016

  • Nicolas Boissonneau, 6th generation, joins the Family vineyard to work on the Sales
